Q: What unique qualities do you believe sets you apart as a leader and woman of influence?
A: I believe everyone has qualities that set us apart from each other. We all have something unique to offer. If I would focus on anything that might be unique, I would highlight my optimism. Surprisingly, even in challenging times I believe we can positively impact the community individually and collectively. I remain faithful in my belief that the majority of humans can care about each other, thus making it possibility for us to power through darker times and come out in a better place.

Q: Can you share a pivotal moment in your career that shaped your path?
A: At some point, not sure exactly when, I was able to define my own purpose. I decided that I was and should continue to use my energy and influence to improve someone’s life. To love my family and friends and leverage my experiences and privilege. This realization showed itself in many forms throughout my career. I have been able to carry this as a throughline and it has kept me grounded.

Q: How do you pay it forward and support the next generation of leaders?
A: I am very impressed with the next generation of leaders that I have met. I have been fortunate to meet and talk with numerous individuals on a variety of topics. My strategy is to say “yes” as much as possible. When asked to meet and/or have a conversation I do my best to be available. Typically, I get more out of the interaction then I give but hopefully there are mutual benefits.
