Senior Counsel - Dentons
Gail A. Lione is a seasoned legal and corporate governance expert, currently serving as senior counsel at Dentons. She advises executive teams and boards on business strategy, risk, innovation, and ESG, drawing on decades of experience as a former general counsel across three industries and as a respected public and private board member. She also teaches intellectual property strategy as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and is a Fellow at The Conference Board’s Governance & Sustainability Center.
Gail serves on the board of Sargento Foods, Inc. and has held prior board roles at Badger Meter, Imperial Sugar, and The F. Dohmen Co. She co-chairs Dentons' Global Smart Cities ESG initiative and previously led several of the firm’s inclusion and culture efforts.
A dedicated nonprofit leader, Gail has served on the boards of the University of Rochester, United Way Worldwide’s Women United Global Leadership Council, The Phillips Collection, and Dog Tag Inc. Her career reflects a deep commitment to ethical leadership, corporate responsibility, and empowering women in business.
