Principal - Krause Communications

Marilyn Krause is Principal at Krause Communications. She is a veteran media professional who spent 20+ years as a reporter and editor, first with The Milwaukee Journal and then with its successor, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, most recently as Assistant Managing Editor/Administration, managing the financial and administrative operations for the newsroom. She also was a Director with The Lowe Group in 2015-16.

She is a director and past president of the Milwaukee Press Club. She served on the TEMPO board from 2014-2023 and was instrumental in launching TEMPO's Emerging Women Leaders community. She was a former board member of Lake Country Charity Connection; a volunteer at Your Choice to Live, Inc., past director and commodore of the Pewaukee Yacht Club, and a race officer for the the Inland Lakes Yachting Association. She is a former volunteer with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
