Melodie Wilson Oldenburg was an award-winning television journalist and breast cancer advocate based in Milwaukee. She began her broadcast career in the 1970s and became a respected anchor known for her professionalism and strong connection with viewers. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, she used her platform to share her journey and support others. In 1999, she founded ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, a nonprofit providing peer support to those facing breast cancer. Wilson passed away in 2009, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, courage, and community impact.
